Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using AskTheHIM.com (the "Site") and consulting with Charles Boyd / AskTheHIM ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.
2. Advisory Services & Free Consultations
AskTheHIM provides insurance informational reviews, policy comparisons, and licensed consultation services. Our advisory consultations and quote reviews are provided to you at no cost. Insurance premiums and policy rates are established by licensed carriers and regulated by state insurance departments.
3. Independent Broker Representation
Charles Boyd acts as an independent insurance broker and consultant appointed with various insurance carriers. We do not underwrite insurance policies or issue claims payments; all contractual coverage, claim approvals, and policy terms are solely between the enrolled policyholder and the respective insurance carrier.
4. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to ensure that plan descriptions, estimates, and informational articles are accurate and up to date, insurance carrier offerings, deductibles, and network coverage change frequently. Official plan benefits are governed by the insurance carrier's official Policy Contract and Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC).
5. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, carrier logos, and brand assets displayed on this site belong to their respective registered owners. AskTheHIM displays carrier logos for informational and identification purposes to indicate plan availability and broker appointments.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall AskTheHIM or Charles Boyd be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this website or from decisions made without verified policy documentation.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
